Those who do repairs in the house with their own hands could once face such a problem: the screw is tightly pulled to the surface, and the slot (slot on the fastener into which the screwdriver is inserted) is tightly torn off. As a result, unscrew such a screw is very, very problematic. Usually such a problem happens with the faces of a cross screwdriver. Twisting the screw with pliers is difficult and not always possible. But there is a small life hack, as it is easy and without any problems to unscrew the screw, tightly drawn to the surface, with torn edges.

To do this, you will need a regular rubber band (or rubber gasket), which will roughly correspond to the head of the screw.

It should be placed on the screw and start to unscrew using a tool.

With a screwdriver, this trick also works with a bang.

Be sure to remember this trick, so that in the future it is easy to unscrew the screw with torn edges.
