Smells in the toilet, I confess, not the most pleasant. But there are several new ways to clean toilet rooms and keep them clean and fresh for a long time.
1. Rinse thoroughly under the toilet seat fixtures.
Find an opportunity to remove the seat and rinse well under the mounts. You may wonder how much dirt is collected in these places. As soon as you clean out under the seat, the unpleasant smell will evaporate for a long time. In the future, try from time to time to rinse under the seat with a brush to prevent the appearance of new contaminants in these places.
2. Means for cleaning surfaces with the smell of lemon
Add some cleaning agent to the toilet brush and it will no longer be a hotbed of unpleasant odors, and cleaning with it will become more efficient.
3. Lemon and Baking Soda
Prepare a thick paste from the juice of freshly squeezed lemon and baking soda and using an old toothbrush, apply it to the stains on the toilet, leave for 15 minutes. Then sprinkle the same brush with vinegar, remove the paste with it and wipe the ceramic surface with a paper towel or cloth.
4. DIY air freshener
When the toilet room is sparkling clean, but sometimes it just smells unpleasant, refresh it with a spray bottle with a mixture of cleansing essential oil, witch hazel and water. For more resistant smells, add a few drops of peppermint oil to the solution.
5. Wash towels with vinegar
Even if you wash your towels regularly, sometimes they keep a musty smell. Instead of buying new ones, try again to wash them, but this time in very hot water with chlorine bleach added. Instead of a fabric conditioner, add half a cup of purified vinegar to get rid of the smell and prevent the appearance of a new one. Finally, dry the towels in a dryer at very high temperatures or in fresh air.
6. “Washers” of soda and essential oil
Mix half a cup of baking soda, some purified water, a few drops of essential oil of your choice. You should make a thick paste. Lay it out in paper cupcake outlets. The resulting "washers" can be put in the waste basket, on the shelf in the toilet room and used as a permanent air freshener.
7. Wash the walls
If everything has already been tried, but there are still traces of unpleasant odors, it's time to wash the wall behind the toilet. You can use any cleaning agent, but ordinary vinegar is quite effective against bacteria and eliminate unpleasant odors.
