Everything new is a well-forgotten old, but it will be new only with important improvements. Before the invention of plastic containers and microwave ovens, people took snacks with them to work. In such cases, glass jars with lids were very helpful. Jar Food offers to remember the experience of moms and grandmothers, and stop being tied to business lunches and office kitchens.

The Jar Food system has its own aesthetics, and at its core are Mason jars, some of which are no less pleasant than those from a porcelain plate. Such dishes will allow you to give the office dinner a little sophistication.

Jar Food involves folding foods in layers, so fresh vegetables and lettuce leaves do not mix long before eating, and you eat a really fresh dish. The sauce is laid on the very bottom, which means vegetables do not let the extra juice.

You can use for such salads only those ingredients that are included in your diet. You can prepare jars in advance by providing yourself with a snack for several days. Cook some sauces separately, adding just before dinner.

To collect the salad in a jar, proceed as follows: first pour sauce, then hard vegetables, then soft vegetables, which can make juice. Next you should put carbohydrates: rice, corn, potatoes, which will be protected from the sauce and not soaked. Top with protein foods (meat, fish, cheese and eggs) and cover with lettuce leaves. The jar should be filled tightly so that the sauce covers the food only when you shake the jar before eating.
