In order not to worry about the large number of dyes and flavor enhancers in marmalade, prepare it yourself. Here is a wonderful recipe from a useful and inexpensive pumpkin. The pumpkin itself is sweet, which means you don’t have to add too much sugar.
You will need:
- sugar to taste;
- lemon juice;
- dry instant gelatin
Cut the pumpkin into pieces and place in the oven. It should bake for 20-30 minutes at 180 degrees.
Finished pumpkin must be crushed with a blender and pass through a sieve. Add sugar, lemon juice and gelatin to the pumpkin mass. Mix well, leave the mass for 15 minutes at room temperature.
Now we put the future marmalade on a slow fire and heat it up a little on a slow fire. Make sure that the composition does not boil. Gelatin and sugar should be dissolved.
Hot mashed potatoes pour in a flat bottom lined with cling film. Take such dishes so that the layer thickness does not exceed 2-2.5 cm. Leave the marmalade overnight in the refrigerator.
