"Russian Square" - a stylish pillow with a geometric pattern

Begin the work of making a pattern, determining the color scheme and preparing the necessary amount of fabric for the selected pattern. In fact, the pillow consists of triangles-corners and stripes assembled in squares. If you plan to create several pillows of different sizes, it is easier not to reduce the details, but to reduce the number of lanes.

When cutting the fabric do not forget about allowances. When all the details are cut, you can proceed to the assembly.

Sew the tops of large triangles to the central square and get a new square.

We iron the old fabric and align the new square. Sewing corners, not forgetting to tuck or trim the extra fabric added to the allowances.

Then step by step we collect the inverse pyramid, complementing it with corners. If desired, at the edges of the size of the corners and stripes can be increased.

The finished square is stripped off and collected in a pillow case, and then filled into it.

To collect pillow cases from shreds - fascinating occupation. Assembly options are different. Everything here is limited only by the flight of thought, the desire to create and the availability of source material.
