Cucumber stuffed cabbage: an unusual serve - excellent result

Cucumbers and cabbage are the guests of the hospitable table. Options to prepare them for the winter mass. Tasty recipes are passed down from generation to generation. At the same time, it is still possible to surprise guests with an unusual presentation. Try to cook cucumbers in cabbage leaves. Perhaps they will become your specialty in the future.

On one 3-liter jar of cucumbers:

  • loose cabbage on the leaves;
  • salt - 1.5 tbsp;
  • sugar - 2 tablespoons;
  • Vinegar 9% - 70 ml:
  • 1 umbrella of dill;
  • 2-3 leaves of black currant;
  • crushed leaves or horseradish root - a big pinch;
  • carrots - a few circles;
  • bell pepper;
  • Bay leaf;
  • Other herbs and spices are optional.

Dissolve the cabbage on the leaves, if desired, prune cucumbers on both sides. Each cucumber is wrapped in a cabbage leaf on the principle of stuffed cabbage.

At the bottom of the jar we put the spices, the cucumbers wrapped in cabbage are poured with boiling water and allowed to stand for half an hour.

Drain the cucumber into a separate saucepan, add salt and sugar and bring to a boil. At the bottom of the cans pour vinegar, pour the hot marinade, cover with lids and send to be sterilized for 15 minutes, then roll and wrap. Cooled cucumbers are sent to storage.

Be careful! The proportions of salt, sugar and vinegar are based on a 3-liter jar.
