Sometimes woolen things come into disrepair, and there is a need to gently mend the hole. There are several ways to patch a hole. We propose to look at one of the options for sewing a wool sock - the work is quite simple, and the result is beyond all praise!
You will need yarn of similar color, gypsy needle, darn fungus (or light bulb), scissors.
We fix the sock on the fungus, cut off the shaggy edges. We pull the guide yarns out of the yarn over the entire area of the hole. We arrange the threads quite tightly.
The end of the yarn, therefore, should be in the lower right corner. During sewing, we will rise from the bottom up and vice versa, embroidering pigtails from yarn, which are similar to the main pattern. Thread with a needle should be carried out in a vertical direction through the horizontal rows of threads.
Reaching the hole, use the horizontal guide lines of the yarn. We stretch the thread in a horizontal direction through the tensioned row.
When moving from top to bottom, when we create a loop, we need to take the needle under the next guideline.
After stitching the first row, we again thread the needle through the guide lines to the top of the square and begin to make stitches over the selected area.
Repeat the work on the entire surface of the hole. It turns out very neat and unobtrusive darn.
