Such caviar can and should be cooked in the vegetable season. Spin from fragrant caviar often flies first off the table. While working in the kitchen, do not close at least one jar - and you will not have time to blink an eye, as there will be nothing left from a jar of caviar - everyone likes it so much. And caviar is prepared of only three ingredients - carrots, tomatoes and garlic.
To prepare caviar from carrots, take the following products:
- 2 kg of carrots;
- 3 kg of tomatoes;
- 2 small heads of garlic;
- 2 glasses of sunflower oil;
- 200 grams of sugar;
- 2 tbsp. l salts;
- 1 tbsp. l ground black pepper.
- Tomatoes and carrots scroll through the meat grinder.
- Add salt, pepper, garlic to the mixture, pour in the oil.
- Send to a preheated stewpot to stew, until excess moisture is evaporated. It will take 1.5-2 hours on low heat.
- 15 minutes before the end, add 2 crushed garlic heads.
- Pour the caviar into sterilized jars, but be sure to leave one open and serve to the table with sliced bread.
